Reflections on the world, from my perspective as a thinking mother and business owner who aims to be better than I used I to be.

ode To Journal

To journal is to write freely. Expression of the thoughts that surface in your mind. Some thoughts will be reflections from the past, and others will be things we imagine for the future. We can journal ourselves into our future. We can choose to embrace the fears or the hopes through our writing them out. Allow the paper to receive each outcome of our imagination. And at the end we see that the choice remains in our control.

I believe a good mental health practice is to allow the imagination to go all the way to the end. Finish the dream. Follow the tragedy to the conclusion. Be aware of the options in your mind. Don’t escape or run from the thoughts. It is in the trying to avoid the thought that makes us stuck or “mad” when these ideas circle inside us. Often resulting in acting out things we fear without fulling thinking it through.

To journal brings some direction and permission to move forward in your life. When you consult your previous self to reach your higher self you evolve. Going back to words you wrote to yourself can be used as reminders, guidebook and validation of your forward transition to living deeply.
